Lily Lolo Mineral Blush – Cherry Blossom & Doll Face Review

The craze for mineral products sees no signs of slowing down if anything they are getting more popular. Although I can’t see myself converting to just mineral products there are a few gems that are worth introducing to your everyday make up kit. One of the best mineral make up companies I’ve had the pleasure of coming across is Lily Lolo and I am a huge fan of their Mineral Blush. My two favourite shades been Cherry Blossom and Doll Face.

Lily Lolo Mineral Blush comes in the cute little sifter tubs (abov)e and are perfect for getting the right amount of blush for your look without over doing it. They come in 12 shades, two which are new called Surfer Girl and Beach Babe which are perfect if your heading to the beach or abroad this summer.

To apply the blush just tip a tiny amount into the lid of the tub (a little really does go a long way),  using your brush press it into the powder then tap off the excess on the side of the lid. Start applying in light strokes building to your desired colour. Simple.

The Good Points:

  • Lightweight Formula
  • Buildable Colour
  • Soft
  • Matte or Shimmer Finish
  • 12 Beautiful Shades

The Bad Points:

  • Tricky to use if you haven’t used it before
  • Easy to Spill (More Likely If you Haven’t Used it Before)

As you can see the product itself hasn’t got many downsides its more if your not familiar with using these types of products which just takes a little practice. These to shades are my favourite as they are the perfect day colours. Doll Face is a beautiful pale peach-pink with a hint of sparkle  which is slightly more on the pink side and Cherry Blossom is a pale peach-pink with a shimmer which to me is a little more peachy. Perfect starter colours if its your first time.
