Me Me Me Cosmetics : Dew Pots Swatches

High performance ultra long-stay rich colour eye defining cream, perfect for using as a primer to get a richer colour or can be used alone. 11 shades to choose from and here are a few of them. They were quite hard to swatch as they had dried out as the store had removed the lids permanently (stupid I know). I’ll get the rest at another time.

Rainbow Eyes – Sensationelle Flicktips ( Lux Box )

Thought I would do something bright as I haven’t for a while now and when I go bright, I go Bright!. So I broke out the pinks, purples and blues and I loved the results especially with the Sensationelle Flicktips. I love these Flicktips they really are awesome, so easy to use, loads of designs and quick for the mornings you don’t have much time. I also added bubblegum coloured lips just for a kick.

Snow White & The Huntsman Palette : Look & Review

I had been waiting to see Snow White & The Huntsman for months when I came across this exclusive Palette by Diego Dalla Palma. I originally saw it advertised by She Said Beauty in a give away which I entered so I could have ended up with two.  The palette has 6 neutral shades, 3 sparkle and 3 matt, eyeliner and lipstick. I will swatch this later so you can see the colours on their own. I have never used Diego Dalla Palma make up before but I am impressed.

Here was what I used and my overall look:

Paul & Joe Moisturising Pimer N

E.L.F Studio Tinted Moisturiser Spf 20

MAC Select Moisturecover – NW15

Illamasqua Powder Blusher – Unrequited

Diego Dalla Palma – Snow White & The Huntsman Palette :

Eye shadows : Snow, Shield, Mirror Mirror, Fairest and Battleground

Eye liner: Dark Knight

E.L.F Studio : Eyebrow lifter / filler

Mac Mascara x – Black

Boots 17 Photo Flawless Mascara – Black,Gold

Mac Lip Liner – Cherry

Diego Dalla Palma – Snow White & The Huntsman Palette : Lipstick – Wicked Queen

I loved using this palette, the colours were so soft and bendable. The eye liner was soft and could hold a line as well as work with a smudged smokey eye look and as for the lipstick this is a beautiful colour red which I will happily add to my collection, creamy and has staying power.

Enjoy x

Beauty Boxes: Lux Box (First Box)

Hiya guys,

Its arrived and I am so happy to be reviewing this great beauty box. Product reviews will be coming soon but for now here is what I think about Lux Box so far and what I had in my box. Firstly all I can say is Im astounded by my first box, as a consumer you order these boxes hoping that you’ll get products you want and products you’ll use otherwise in the end it isn’t worth the money your paying for it. Now with Lux Box for me personally its already done that with the first box, its lived up to exactly what I wanted it to be. For me its all about the beauty items that is what I wanted out of this box and with three out of five items been make up related I couldn’t be happier. But the happiness doesn’t stop there as I also get to try the well known Steamcream that everyone is raving about which was a winner in the Beauty Insiders Choice 2010 and a little healing cream which goes a long way.

So here is what I received in the first Lux Box:

  • Steamcream – Natural Moisturiser £12.95 (Full Size)
  • Eldora False Lashes – H129 £4.50 (Full Size)
  • 2 Bm Beauty Eye shadow Mineral Pigments – £7.00 2g (Sample Size 1g) (Aquatic Galaxy & Marble Sparkle)
  • Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream – £20.00 15ml (Sample Size 10ml)
  • MOA The Green Balm – £9.99 50ml (Sample Size)

Here we have a video of the box been opened and the contents been shown:
