I’m absolutely gutted my popinabox subscrption hasn’t arrived yet, it’s not that it’s late, it hasn’t even been a week but I’m just very impatient and looking forward to the suprise. In preparation I’ve been clearing out a couple of my Funko Pop Vinyl, there are a few that look completely out of place in our collection and it’s time I found them a new home.
I knew I’d accumulated quite a few geeky goodies that I would never use but I wasn’t quite aware of just how much it had added up. That been said I’ve started adding my Funko Pop Vinyls that need a home as well as other geeky items to my store. If your interested just press the buy button. All prices include signed for postage and are available to UK residents.

I’ll be adding a couple more things day by day so stop by and see what’s been added.
LootCrate is another monthly mystery box subscrption that offers geeky goodies and exclusive items. It’s based in America but does ship to the UK for around £20 (that includes the box and shipping). It doesn’t alway include a Funko Pop Vinyl but when there is, it’s usually an Exclusive. LootCrate April had a theme “Quest” that promised exclusive items for Labyrinth & Harry Potter.
I know a lot of Labyrinth fans that wanted to get hold of the exclusive item especially after the passing of David Bowie earlier this year, an amazing man who will never be forgotten, for me it will be this film I remember him for.
Here is what was including in the April LootCrate:
- Vikings Drinking Horn
- D20 Ice Mould
- Harry Potter Socks
- Labyrinth T-shirt
- April 2016 Loot Pin
- Uncharted 4 : A Theif’s End Poster
I love the T-shirt is amazing, the socks would have been cool but I’m not wowed. Not a fan of Vikings so wouldn’t use the drinking horn, wouldn’t use the Ice Mould either. I would recommend trying them though, they have something different every month and you can order one box or a subscription for a couple of months. The next boxes theme is Power and subscriptions to it end in 12 days. There are also other crates to choose from including a Firefly one.
Take a little look at LootCrate.com
I am am super excited this morning, even though I was woke at ungodly hours (well for a saturday atleast) it was for a very good reason. Epic mail call of our second box from Marvel Collector Corps this time Marvel Collector Corps Ant-man aswell as our infinity crate.
Originally I wasn’t that excited about this box as I wasn’t an Ant-man fan and I was really hoping we weren’t going to get stung by custom charges especially since we had no idea what was in the box and if it would be worth it. But this time around no shipping issues, no customs charges and it was delivered very quickly…it was worth the wait.
As usual we have my awesome hubby unboxing and my hansome little boy making a guest appearance. Take a look at what we recieved in our box:
I loved this box,the pin and badge are great little collectables. I hope they keep these coming in each box. For those who just want the contents, here’s what we had:
Funko Exclusive unmasked Ant-man with mini little bobble head Ant-man
2 Ant-man mystery minis
Ant-man comic #5 varient cover
Ant-man Pin Badge
A great box and I’m looking foward to the announcement next month of what the theme for August’s box will be. Any guesses?
Seems I’ve had so many new pops since our last pop in a box came and now it’s here again. This monthly box always gets me excited for what pop we will recieve, if it will be an exclusive or something I’ve been looking for,I love the suprise.
I’m hoping this month for something rare or different to the pops in our local stores so fingers crossed for a great sub this month. I spent hours (not jokeing) thumbs up and thumbs downing so many pops in the hope of just pops we want.
Here is the husband unboxing our box and yes I stole the popping candy…yummy cherry.
So an you can see above we recieved original Iron Man which is okay pretty common available in Tesco but he has a really good paint job unlike the Tesco ones and Hawkeye from Marvels Avengers Age of Ultron which is cool now we just have Hulk to go but again he’s in the local shops.
Still happy as they are ones I would have bought at some point but I want something new and exciting so I’m hoping next month we get a WOW pop.
We went on a POP Vinyl Hunt today it was a really fun time finding all the new items that were on offer.
It all started from a rumour that Sainsburys is going to be stocking Funko POP! as part of their Fathers Day Promotion. Some stores had already rolled them out and others had no clue about it so we had to investigate naturally.
To our disappointment there was no sign of anything in our local Sainsburys store and we had heard some stores have been lucky to have a few Metallic Chase Jokers in. After some digging and a conversation with Sainsuburys Twitter Team we discovered that even though they have the stock they’ve been told not to sell until it’s closer to fathers day.
So disappointed and empty handed we thought that’s where the day would end and went to get some new shelving but still needed a POP! Fix. This took us to Smyth’s Toy Store and thank God it did.
We have been to this particular shop a good few times checking in every now and then to see if they have any hidden gems but today was an extra special surprise. They must have just had a delivery in and now had a full section of Inside Out figures from the new film and so the promo stand was the fullest we had seen it.
We thought this was amazing in its self lots of pops to choose from is always a good thing but as we walked around the store we just found more and more hidden in different sections they had clearly run out of space on the stand and decided to spread them out but this was awesome and it became a little bit of a treasure hunt.
Going from section to section seeing if there was any pops hiding on the shelves, we found WWE, DC, Frozen, and to our delight Cinderella.
Cinderella came home with us as our girls love the new film, our collection is growing so fast . Here they are now proudly on their “Out of Reach” shelf 😀

I know by now you’ve already read a good few posts about the Marvel Collector Corps boxes but I’ve finally got mine so your going to hear my opinion and see what t-shirt I got. I’ve been looking forward to this ever since watching a review about the box and I was sold as soon as I saw the Pop in it because anyone that’s seen Avengers Age of Ultron will probably want one. It probably took me longer than normal to get round to ordering it because I wasn’t sure about ordering a box that was $43 (roughly £29) and then possibly having to pay custom charges on top of that.
In the end my other half wanted this box so badly we thought why not and I am beyond happy we didn’t get the custom charges on top which makes this box a bargain for what is inside.
My son thinks Captain America is awesome just like his mammy so you can see he’s already trying to claim it as his own, very clever 1 year old but he’s going to have to share. I do already know the contents but just not sure which t-shirt we got so pretty excited. Take a look at the video below and I’ll list the items underneath just in case you miss something.
The contents of my Marvel Collector Corps Avengers box in no particular order:
Funko Pop Vinyl : Hulkbuster
Captain America vs Ultron T-shirt (4 different ones to collect)
Funko Dorbz: Ultron
Collector Corps Pin Badge
Collector Corps Woven Patch
Unlike the standard subscrption boxes these come out every two months, this was Aprils and the next one for June has the theme Antman. I’m not quite sure yet if we will get it, we’ll probably wait it out and see the contents first to see if it’s worth it and has items that we want. Either way I’m looking forward to seeing what boxes they bring out in the coming months.
Our very first Infinity Crate has arrived and it has not dissapointed us. For those that have not had Infinity Crate before, it is a subscrption box which makes your boxes with your interests in mind but also has a monthly theme. As you can see from the title this months theme is “Loss”. The subscrption can cost from £14.99 upwards depending on t-shirt size and how many months you pay for upfront. The face that you are guarnteed a Pop Vinyl and t-shirt seals the deal for me.
Our May Infinity Crate arrived looking a little banged up this morning so we had our fingers crossed all inside would be okay.
Thankfully all was okay and I really loved the box so much so that I think we will stay suscribed for another month. But anyway back to the contents of this months box, you can either take a look at the video below which is my husband and my very bouncy 4 year old (its her Birthday) unboxing the box or skip to below it where I’ll list the contents for you. Also handy if you miss a bit in the video.
There can be a variety of different so not everyone gets the same thing, this is what we recieved:
Supernatural T-shirt (love it!) – Also available Halo,Walking Dead,Batman & Joker.
Causes of Death Poster
Daryl (Walking Dead) Pin Badge – Also available Final Fantasy,Hershal,Supernatural.
Selection of Temporary Tattoos
Batman Pop -Some have had Firefly (jealous!)
Walking Dead Vinyl
It was a great first box with a great selection of items that I’m really happy with especially at such a great price. Looking forward to next months box now I hope it doesn’t dissapoint.
The first of many posts to come, I’m so excited to share this with you guys and I know you’ll enjoy the suprise of what’s in each box. The husband and I decided it was finally time to start collecting the awesome collectables we’ve wanted but didn’t want round our kids chocolate covered fingers. Now they are older we’ve jumped in head first and ordered our first round of goodies. Starting today with our first Pop in a box.
Pop in a box is a subscription service to recieve between 1 and 6 Funko Pop Vinyls a month saving money the more you order. You scroll through the site giving a thumbs up to the items you want the most and thumbs down to the ones you don’t want to recieve. So much choice and you can also keep track of the items you have by marking it in your collection, this will also make sure you don’t recieve that item.
If your interested in getting your very own Pop in a box check out their site at popinabox.co.uk
So without anymore waiting here is what we recieved this month:
Ahhh here goes!
As you can see from the pictures we recieved the new Avengers Age of Ultron Captain America and Vision. Super happy I was hoping for these but thought there was no way we would get these in our first box. Only way this could have been better to me was if we had Hulk… Love Hulk!
Also each box comes with popping candy, it was orange Tango and it was yummy.
Still have more on the way so pop back soon.
