May Pop In A Box Unboxing

I’m slowly thinking that Pop Vinyls are becoming an obsession in our house. Not an entirely unhealthy one but an expensive one to say the least. Saying that I don’t think it will stop anytime soon as its something us and the kids love (especially us!). Our youngest daughter has now asked for Elsa from Frozen for her Birthday which will start yet another collection.

I couldn’t wait for our May Pop In A Box to arrive and as usual we couldn’t stop ourselves from buying a couple before hand which is dangerous territory when the Pop Vinyls you get are a mystery until you open the box. It’s our second box from Pop In A Box and once again we weren’t dissapointed. If you are looiing for a Pop subscription then I couldn’t reccomend them anymore highly. You will not be dissapointed beleive me.

So this month we recieved :
Guardians of the Galaxy : Groot
Futurama: Fry

We also ordered an extra Pop this month, we were very very lucky to get Master Chief from Halo 4, this was sourced by Ed from Pop In A Box and it really is awesome so we’ve proudly added him to our ever growing collection.

Unboxing Marvel Avengers Age Of Ultron Mystery Merchandise Box by Bay-57

The husband and I were eyeing up this company for a couple of weeks but since we’re not Game Of Thrones fans and we didn’t quite fancy the Star Wars box we hadn’t got round to placing an order. Then after we saw Marvel Avengers Age of Ultron we were having another look and found they’d brought out a Marvel Avengers Age of Ultron Mystery Merchandise Box. Not as cheap as other subscription boxes at £34.99 plus delivery but the box is said to be worth over £60.

And here it is in (not quite) all its glory. Keep reading…

+ Iron Man Fabrications
+ Thor from a set of Funky Wacky Wobblers
+ Micro Comic Fun Pack
+ The Mighty Thor T-Shirt

By our estimates we worked out the value of this box at less than £50 and not more than £60 as advertised and so contacted Bay-57 for clarification and see if a mistake was made. With no response to email my husband contacted them via Instagram and then through their advice through Facebook messenger.

My husband and daughter unboxing:

We got told that our box did look a few items light and they agreed to send out some extras to make it what it should have been. We were told that it must have been a picking error and the items should be with us in a few days.

Unfortunately the items that turned up where another mini comic and a pair of Captain American shot glasses that appeared to be old stock.

We were more than dissapointed and once again my husband contacted them only this time it took them 1 week to respond.
I can only really sum up what a dissapointment ordering from this company has been from beginning to end, I’ve learnt that they are fairly new in the box market but for such a saturated market they needed to be on their game as they’ve obviously had stock issues and their customer service could do with a lot of improvement. We were offered more items but then told as we’d already had more items then they couldn’t send more out. We still question the items value total as it did not amount to over £60, they said it did but I think they exaggerated the cost of each item so it would add up to over £60 to cover themselves. We could return the box at our own cost and have a refund but in the end it wasn’t worth dealing with them anymore so we decided enough was enough.

The contents weren’t 100% bad, I love the Fabrikation and the t-shirt but the box to me didn’t fulfill what they were advertising. It was a let down, not worth the cost, their claims of been over £60 and then their appalling customer service just undid any liking I had of the box at the beginning.

I wish I’d fully looked at this company and the problems other customers had before we ordered with them, I can’t see us ordering from them in the future. All I can say is if your going to order then order with caution, you may be lucky and have no problems or you may end up feeling like us which is dissapointed and out of pocket.

Harley Quinn – Pocket Pop Keychain

As you may have seen from my tweets or others posts this week I wasn’t particularly happy with my Amazon parcel I collected from the post office. I was awaiting my Iron Man Mark 43 and my Harley Quinn Keychain (Eek!)

Unfortunately although there was no damage to the shipping box, the Iron Man box was damaged and had definitely been opened before even though this was suppose to be new from Amazon. Still annoyed at this as they only offered the option of a refund and we could return it.
On the happier note…Harley Quinn Keyring, I love it!. Harley Quinn is by far one of my favourite characters and I’m a huge fan of her. If you haven’t seen the Suicide Squad series it is worth more than just a look.

The first of many posts to come, I’m so excited to share this with you guys and I know you’ll enjoy the suprise of what’s in each box. So much choice and you can also keep track of the items you have by marking it in your collection, this will also make sure you don’t recieve that item.

As you can see from the pictures we recieved the new Avengers Age of Ultron Captain America and Vision. Super happy I was hoping for these but thought there was no way we would get these in our first box. Only way this could have been better to me was if we had Hulk… Love Hulk!
Also each box comes with popping candy, it was orange Tango and it was yummy.
Still have more on the way so pop back soon.
