Dusky Pink is the colour to have this autumn, its on the catwalks in all forms but most importantly its inspiring beauty looks and nail varnish trends. As the lips go bolder is shades of berry eyes go softer is pink hues. I created this look with neutral lips and slightly smokey eyes instead of my usual black eyeliner.

Among the products of the August Glossybox was a Highlighter made by Kryolan for Glossybox. I’ve used Kryolan products before so it was a product I was looking foward to using but I can’t say I was that excited that it was a highlighter.
Described as the perfect versatile highlighter cream that can be used on cheekbones, lips and other parts of the skin you wish to highlight. The lightweight formula makes it very wearable as once you’ve put it on you wont notice its there for the rest of the day.
I used this as a brow bone highlighter as well as on my cheekbones but you can also use in otherways such as your cupids bow. The product recieved was full size worth £12.95.
I love the kryolan highlighter itself, its definitely lightweight, great highlighter perfect for brow bone highlighting. The texture is smooth, takes minimal product to the job and gives you that wide awake look if you are running late. But at £12.95 its quite a steep price for the job it does when you can get similar products for cheaper. I guess it all comes down to how much your willing to spend on a highlighter. As I had it in GlossyBox, this product alone is almost the cost of the box itself.
A nice simple elegant look today, perfect for a nice dinner out, simple bridal make up or something light to wear to work (skip the sparkle if you want). I love this light beautiful look I created because its very versatile and can be altered for any occasion. You’d be able to smoke it out for a night out, keep to the neutral colours with sparkle for a wedding or keep the neutral colours for the day. In no way does neutral mean boring.
I am so excited its finally here, I have heard good whispers about the July GlossyBox and its not like them to disappoint so I wonder what I have this month. As usual it comes its a little pink box (unless its a special one of course) and as I untie the ribbon and take a little peak….what do you think it is I see?
If you want to know what is in my version of the box this month just look below:
Inside the Box

The gel will regenerate and preserve the youthfulness of the skin, boost cell and tissue metabolism and reinforce all of the skins structures by hydrating, smoothing and plumping the skins surface. Either use as a daily serum or a sleep mask.
Awapuhi Wild Ginger : Texturizing Sea Spray – Now I have shorter hair this will come in quite handy, it creates a tousled beach style look, inspired by surf hair of course. It adds texture and body to your hair giving you the perfect beach hair.
Monu : Extra Rich Night Cream – Looking forward to trying this as I have dry/sensitive skin and this cream is said to be a luxurious night cream that with intensively nourish and first while I sleep. Sounds perfect especially when this summer heat at the moment is drying out my skin.
Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics : Lip Frosting – I’ve heard of this cosmetics brand but never tried it, this cream gloss smells utterly delicious and I can’t wait to try it. It’s multifunctional and can be used as a lip tint or a cheek tint for a luminous glow.
