Look: Dusky Pink (Autumn)

Dusky Pink is the colour to have this autumn, its on the catwalks in all forms but most importantly its inspiring beauty looks and nail varnish trends. As the lips go bolder is shades of berry eyes go softer is pink hues. I created this look with neutral lips and slightly smokey eyes instead of my usual black eyeliner.

Summer Ombre Look

If you haven’t seen the Ombre trend lately heres a look at it as a make up look. I’ve seen it mostly on nails this summer but I thought a look like this couldn’t hurt especially with the make up trio I was using which I will get to later. Ombre is french for shadow / shade / shaded, in the fashion world it basically means anything stating out as one colour and morphing into another. Ombre has been everywhere so far, we’ve had hair, clothes, nails so why not Ombre eye shadow?

Hunters Eyes – (Daytime Green)

A new look for you guys using a few new things that I received in my E.L.F. Cosmetics order this week, as well as some of my favourites. I wanted to do a look that was quite dramatic but could be used in the day too and in all honesty I am really happy with how it turned out… Greens look lovely when you have brown eyes. This can easily be done for a night time look as well just darken it into a smokey eye look with a bit more black and intensify the colour to make it pop out.  This what I used:

Rainbow Eyes – Sensationelle Flicktips ( Lux Box )

Thought I would do something bright as I haven’t for a while now and when I go bright, I go Bright!. So I broke out the pinks, purples and blues and I loved the results especially with the Sensationelle Flicktips. I love these Flicktips they really are awesome, so easy to use, loads of designs and quick for the mornings you don’t have much time. I also added bubblegum coloured lips just for a kick.

I went for greens and browns this time no blacks were needed and I only used basically one palette. I also added the lashes from my She Said Beauty Box will have to review.

I will do a review for theses lashes as the lashes were lovely but the glue they came with was way too watery and there wasn’t much “stick” hence my lashes coming off.

FOTD Summer Pinks

Today’s FOTD was inspired by yesterdays pink lips, I wanted more colour today as summer is on its way even though sometimes we can tell by the weather we receive. On my way home from work yesterday the sun was shining and a neighbour of ours had these gorgeous pink flowers that where just a few shades pinker than my lipstick. They looked and smelled gorgeous so I thought today would be a pink look for a change.
